There are many pathologies that cripple even great minds. Only a dialectical understanding of the subject overcomes this. Hilferding and Kautsky fell to this false idol of “Capital as God” in their analysis of the state. Then, Imperialism appeared as a logical progression; as an Eschatology, rather than an inherent contradiction that created the totality.
Dialectics Versus Detrminism
You cannot “overcome” or “sublate” evil itself. It is a part of the whole that must exist in order for that whole to develop. The revolution is not the cyclical nature of the development, rather, it is the development itself. If the management of the fiat dollar creates all superfluous labor and enriches the decadence and nonsense of the Western hegemony, then it is the structure and backbone of the State. This is what is meant to be abolished, not sublated. What is meant to be sublated is the progress this makes toward the socialization of production. That is, the objective technological, regional, and locality of the “State.” This is why it is a geopolitical reality.
Because Western Marxism becomes economically deterministic, it produces irreconcilable contradictions. For example, how can we abolish the State when the State is the Dollar Hegemon? How do you sublate finance and rents, who preclude themselves on the iron grip of all trajectories into the future? Finance and rent produce the cage in which the human becomes an animal again. It dictates the loss of all freedom outside of forced production.
Determinism’s Conclusion: the Fascist State
As the Nazi’s inscribed over the concentration camps “Arbeit macht frei.” This is the ultimate perversion of the concept of labor; not meaning that our labor makes us free, but that your labor makes you think of freedom, which we steal from you in your own future. And the Nazi’s made no one in this situation free, ultimately. To abolish the Fascist State, one must abolish it’s structure, it’s mechanism. This is revolution.
